The following slides include examples of projects where we addressed the reduced supply spend via changing the engineering process. The way how engineering things about the product determines the cost of the product and production process. Many methods can be used there after, attempting to reduce the cost, but engineering alone can affect 60-80% of the product/production in the initial stage of conceiving the product, its structure and relationship to previous designs.
